When Andres Torres belted a home run off Stephen Strasburg to start the game, things were looking good. Then the next three hitters all hit rocketed line drive outs, and the phenom looked hittable, like the Giants might do what no other team had been able to do yet. Unfortunately, after the first inning, the Giants realized they weren't in Milwaukee anymore, and proceeded to get on base 4 times after the Torres home run.
Not that it would have mattered, because Matt Cain just did not have it at all tonight. He gave up a career high 11 hits, including 2 HR's and a monster double to Adam Dunn, who should be wearing a Giants uniform RIGHT NOW. Get it done. Whatever it takes.
